Cable-Managed Rack Assessment

Cable-Managed Rack Assessment

Two-day on-site visit to map power and data runs, load-test miners above 0.05 TH/s, and deliver a revised rack layout with PDU repositioning notes.

Who This Is For

Farm operators running multiple racks of ASIC or immersion miners who need a second pair of eyes on cable routing before expanding capacity or after a power incident. Typical clients operate between eight and forty racks with hardware sustaining at least 0.05 TH/s per unit.

What Is Included

  • Walk-through of every active rack row with photography of existing power and network runs
  • Load testing on a representative sample of miners at declared hash rate
  • Thermal imaging at cable exit points and PDU connections
  • Marked-up layout drawing showing recommended vertical tray positions, spare-cable lengths, and label scheme
  • Written report delivered within five business days after the visit

What Is Excluded

  • Electrical rewiring or physical installation (we provide specifications; your electrician executes)
  • Firmware configuration or pool setup
  • Procurement of trays, PDUs, or replacement cables

Process

  1. Initial call — You share rack count, miner models, and any recent incidents. We confirm travel dates.
  2. Day one — Site walk, photography, and baseline thermal readings during normal operation.
  3. Day two — Controlled load tests, cable tracing exercises with your maintenance staff, and draft layout review before we leave.
  4. Report delivery — PDF with annotated photos, layout drawing, and prioritized action list.
